Set up agents

Connect the tools on your computer and follow your work in one place.

Start in your terminal

Run this once on the computer where your agents work.

Setup guide

  1. Install the CLI

    Creates ~/.agents and detects the agent runtimes on your computer.

  2. Connect your agents

    Sign in through each agent’s own CLI or configure its provider key locally. Your credentials stay on your computer.

  3. Sync your workspace

    Bring your agents, projects, skills, and sessions into the cockpit.

What gets installed

The installer checks Node.js 22 or later, installs Bun if needed, and adds the agents CLI. Rules, skills, hooks, and session state live in ~/.agents.
